PROMETHEUS®CZ

is our patented soil amendment containing living Pseudomonas bacteria in liquid media suitable for application on oilseed rape (Brassica napus), white mustard (Sinapis alba), poppyseed (Papaver somniferum) and all types of vegetables grown on soils with acidic pH. Pseudomonades actively protect oilseed rape plants from fungal infection by covering the surface of oilseed rape roots with its colonies that form a barrier to fungal mycelia. They also form colonies on fungal sclerotia and produce fungicidal compounds that inhibit sclerotia germination. Metabolism of Pseudomonas helps to optimize soil acidity by increasing the soil pH by 0.2–1.0. PROMETHEUS®CZ is suitable for the use in conditions of intensive agriculture that involves the application of artificial fertilizers and pesticides, however, it also fulfils the criteria for the use in organic (ecological) farming. Symbiosis between pseudomonades and oilseed rape roots improves the nutrient uptake by the crop plant through speeding up the decomposition of the organic matter and breakdown of complex chemical compounds. Application of PROMETHEUS®CZ is optimally carried out during fall or early in the spring on cloudy days on a wet ground or before rain in the dose of 1 l/ha in 200-600 litres of water per hectare. It can be applied together with most pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Documented harvest gain ranges between 3–10%.

HIRUNDO®

is a biological soil amendment registered as a fertilizer suitable for application on oilseed rape (Brassica napus), white mustard (Sinapis alba), breadseed poppy (Papaver somniferum) and all types of vegetables grown on soils with neutral or slightly basic pH. HIRUNDO® contains living bacteria of the genus Bacillus in liquid media that grow in symbiosis with oilseed rape roots where they actively produce fungicidal compounds supressing soil pathogens. The bacteria form spores that make the microorganism resistant to stress conditions such as prolonged periods of low rainfall, high or low temperatures or the use of pesticides. HIRUNDO® is suitable for the use in conditions of intensive agriculture, however, it also fulfils the criteria for the use in organic (ecological) farming. Our strains of Bacillus bacteria decompose soil organic matter and are thus suitable for soils with high content of humus improving the nutrients intake by the crop plants. Application of HIRUNDO® is optimally carried out during fall or early in the spring on cloudy days on a wet ground or before rain in the dose of 1 l/ha in 200-600 litres of water per hectare. It can be applied together with most pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Documented harvest gain ranges between 3–8%.

FIX-H+N®

is an auxiliary plant product designed for the treatment of maize (Zea mays) and all types of vegetables, with the augmentation of crop yields especially kept in mind. The FIX-H+N® suspension contains living bacteria that colonize the rhizosphere and create a beneficial relationship with the corn root via the principle of free symbiosis.

BASKUS®

BASKUS® is a product that can support the health of plants, especially during expected infection conditions. It protects against both types of pathogenic bacteria: G+ and G-. Each individual component is effective; however, this mixture of microorganisms provides more consistent effect across a spectrum of pathogens and wide-range of environmental conditions. Three components of BASKUS® support the plants' natural defenses, while four components displace the germs.

KESTOM®

KESTOM® contains the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma atroviride, which is amongst the plant-friendly soil microflora, and increasing its share of the rhizosphere leads to the suppression of pathogenic fungi. Not only does it compete with them for nutrients and space, it can also actively reduce their viability. Trichoderma's secondary metabolites include, among others, atroviridins, which have fungistatic effects. In addition, mycoparasitism has been documented in T. atroviride: this species purposefully attacks other soil fungi as a means of its own nutrition.

KANGER®

KANGER® is registered as an auxiliary herbal product. Its beneficial side effects include the action of bacterial metabolites against fungal pathogens. This product contains living bacteria of the genus Bacillus, which have been shown to produce a number of plant health promoting substances, including antifungal substances. In the case of apple orchards, the treatment is particularly aimed at powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) and apple scab (Venturia inaequalis), both on leaves and fruit.

SUFY®

SUFY® is a plant health promoting product that is aimed against aphids. Its action is based on the physical principles: it is a contact supplement made of hygroscopic volcanic clays and requires the addition of a wetting agent in order to function. Compared to conventional chemical-based products, SUFY® comes with a number of advantages. Since its effect does not depend on the chemical composition but rather on its microscopic structure, this product does not harm the environment or human health. While conventional pesticides leave behind unwanted chemical residues, SUFY® evades this problem.

BALET®

BALET® is a plant biostimulant containing 7 different species of microorganisms - lactic bacteria and yeasts. Its use has a positive effect on increasing the yield of silage and grain maize, with an important side effect of improved preservation of the maize silage. The stability of silage after the application of BALET® is comparable to that achieved with chemical preservatives, which is quite exceptional among biological products.

 

All products of MONAS technology can be used in organic farming according to Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 on organic production and labeling of organic products.
